Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview

Thank you for shopping with Care2Phone Tauranga. We take pride in providing reliable products and professional repair services. This Return & Refund Policy explains when and how returns, exchanges, or refunds can be requested for products or services purchased in-store or online.

2. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns or exchanges under the following conditions:

• The product is defective, damaged, or not as described.
• You notify us within 7 days of purchase or delivery.
• The product is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging with all accessories and proof of purchase.

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted once the product is opened, used, or installed.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned or refunded:

• Screen protectors, cables, chargers, tempered glass, or accessories once opened.
• Software installations, diagnostics, or service fees.
• Repairs involving physical or liquid damage after customer approval.
• Gift cards or vouchers.

4. Repair Service Warranty

All hardware repairs include a 90-day limited warranty on replaced parts and workmanship. This warranty does not cover:

• Physical or liquid damage after repair
• Software or OS-related issues
• Any tampering or unauthorized service after repair

Warranty for liquid damage cleaning is limited to 30 days.

5. Refund or Replacement Process

Once your return is received and inspected:

• If eligible, we will first repair or replace the item where practical.
• If repair or replacement is not possible, a refund will be issued via the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
• Refunds cover only the product/service amount paid, not shipping, courier, or diagnostic fees.

6. Courier Returns

For online or mail-in orders:

• Products must be returned using a tracked courier service.
• The buyer is responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty.
• Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the courier collects the parcel.

7. Unclaimed or Abandoned Devices

Repaired or evaluated devices uncollected for 30 days after completion may be deemed abandoned. After reasonable contact attempts, Care2Phone may recycle or sell the device to recover service costs.
